The service for the year is $60, and $30 for Veterans. All proceeds go directly to nonprofit Gratitude Charlotteville, supporting our local heroes and promoting patriotism for all. Flags are placed in your front yard in the morning and removed that evening. The flag is 3×5, and flown on an 8 foot hollow pole, slid over a steel rod, and temporarily placed in the ground near the foot of the property owner’s driveway.

Note: In the event of rain, flags will not be placed out of respect. Refunds are not issued based on rain. Paying participants in the Flag Placement Day Program are billed annually. If you need to stop your flag placement please fill out the cancellation form.
